Fort William Kilmallie Church of Scotland

Our services are at 11.30 am each Sunday in Fort William Kilmallie (Duncansburgh), at 10.00a.m. in Caol and at 11.30a.m. in Corpach on alternate Sundays.

Everyone is welcome at our services. (We currently have restricted numbers due to Covid regulations.) We are glad that tourists and visitors often join us for worship. Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall (or soup on the first Sunday of the month.)

Hymns and song words are displayed on screen, but we also make available large print copies of hymns for those who need it. Please ask the welcome team if you need this assistance. There an induction loop for worshippers using hearing aids.

Babies, children and young people are always  welcome. Usually they share in the first part of service, after which there is a creche, Junior Church and Bible Class in the hall at the back of church.

The evening service normally takes place at 6.30 pm in the Church Hall, unless there is a shared service with other local churches or a Messy Church event. Check the Forthcoming Services page for details.

There is also a Thursday lunchtime service from 12.15-12.45. This is an informal time of worship and reflection, and tea and coffee are available.

Other services include Planny Praise, a monthly service in Plantation Hall, Young Place on the third Sunday of each month, and Messy Church on the fourth Sunday of each month.

We have a ministry team. The Parish Minister is Rev Richard Baxter, and the Ordained Local Minister is Rev Morag Muirhead. Mr Bill Skene is the Reader attached to the congregation, and we look forward to welcoming a full-time Team Minister to complete our team early in 2021.
